Hotmail Android Hotmail is updated for Android

The Official Hotmail application for any Android device, such as Galaxy, Xperia, LG Optimus, HTC, etc … is updated to version 7.8.2.7.46.2592 with full support for Android 4.0, among other improvements.

Changelog:

  • Support for Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich)
  • Fix on HTC Desire where ‘Back’ and ‘Menu’ phone buttons are occasionally not functional
  • Fixes for various crashes when phone is restarted or Hotmail account removed
  • Various improvements to calendar and meeting requests, meeting description and acceptance now sent and updated correctly
  • Optimized battery usage on Android 2.1

The application has two disadvantages: the first is that we can not install on the memory card, so you have to install to internal memory, and with a size of 10 MB can be too large. The second drawback is that it is not yet available for Honeycomb, but surely this will be resolved quickly.

Features:

  • With push email get messages on your phone without delay
  • Synced calendar and contacts
  • View your folders in Hotmail, including sub folders
  • Send pictures from your phone using Hotmail
  • Supports multiple Hotmail accounts
  • Send, receive and view attachments

Hotmail is available free at Android Market.
