Gmail for Android just received a new update

Gmail for Android just received a new update, especially addressed to the last distribution Android Jelly Bean 4.1. With this new update is inserted the ability to respond to an email directly from the notification bar without having to run the application, but we will not only reply to the message, also archive or delete.

Gmail is built on the idea that email can be more intuitive, efficient, and useful. And maybe even fun. Get your email instantly via push notifications, read and respond to your conversations online & offline, and search and find any email.

Gmail also lets you:
• Manage multiple accounts
• View and save attachments
• Set up label notifications

Changelog Gmail for Android:

  • Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and up:
    • Reply, archive or delete from notifications – no need to open the app
  • Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and up:
    • Faster search, even when you’re offline
    • Bug fixes and performance improvements
  • Android 2.2 and up:
    • New Labels API for 3rd-party app developers
    • Performance improvements

Gmail for Android is available for free on Google Play.
